Amateur Skateboarders Find Their Place on the Internet

Seattle, WA September 29, 2004 -- The first website dedicated exclusively to amateur skateboarding debuted today on the Internet. SkateAms.com, a division of Madison High Skateboarding, is the premier website for skateboarders around the world to gather, read news, and share opinions.

Skateboarders who visit SkateAms.com have full access to all its features and can register for free accounts to participate in the action. They can fill out an AmFile, an amateur equivalent of a profile, to tell the world who they are, where they come from, and what sponsors they have. They may also upload pictures and videos of their own skateboarding in real-time for the world to see and talk about.

Visitors can win CD and DVD giveaways or even free complete skateboard giveaways for their involvement and contributions to the website. Users have even more chances to win when they sign up for AmMail, a free weekly newsletter released by SkateAms.com featuring news, opinions, and more.

SkateAms.com allows users to browse event listings for contests and demos in their area, share opinions and ideas on several message boards, create and join online communities for skateboarders of similar interests, learn new tricks, read skateboarding and music news, and view our national directory of parks and shops.

SkateAms.com, the fastest growing and freshest skateboarding website on the Internet, will become a one-stop destination for amateur skateboarders around the world. No other website gives complete control of its content to its visitors or is more dedicated to average skateboarders on the streets of cities around the world. The revolution in skateboarding websites has begun.
